I am a French International Law student looking to stay around 12 months in Utrecht for my studies. I will be living alone.
I have a minimalistic lifestyle, live life with moderation and enjoy the good things in small doses. Thus, you will not have any issue with noise, mess, or anything of the like. I have no friends to bring home anyway !
I also return rooms in the same state I rented them.
In regards to finances, I will fund my stay with the savings I have gathered through my previous work. They are sufficient for six full years in the Netherlands and more (I will stay only one year). I have a guarantor available if you so require.
Additionally, in case that might sweeten the deal, my family is ready to arrange some sort of housing exchange agreement with either our appartment in Paris (my mother has two rooms empty since my sister and I left the house), or the family house in Normandy (~150m² to work with, ideal for relaxing holidays). Or perhaps house you free of charge if you want to have a vacation in France someday. On or off the record...
