My Name is Anna and I will be starting my PhD at the Hubrecht institute in September. I am 25 years old, turning 26 in October. I was born and grew up in Vienna, Austria. For my master’s degree in molecular biology I lived in Basel, Switzerland for the last two years. I speak German, Englisch, some French, a tiny bit of Russian and hopefully soon some Dutch.
I like being outside and exploring new things. I like sports like running and bouldering and I love food and cooking (only vegetarian stuff though). I assume I will be working a lot during my PhD but I will make sure I'll have enough time to explore the area, make many new friends and try different things.
